As a first-generation learner, I know what it means to be left behind, and what it takes to ensure no one is.
I partner with leaders across sectors to build frameworks, leadership journeys, and learning pathways that embed global citizenship education and shape the global conversation around why it matters, so every child can grow into their promise.
I’ve spent over eight years in education leadership and nonprofit work across India and Europe. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with inspiring leaders from ministries, UN agencies, schools, universities, civil society organisations, and communities — each committed to exploring how education can better reflect the world we need, and serve both learners and societies.
I founded and lead the Global Citizenship Foundation, a specialist non-governmental organization that supports education leaders in more than 70 countries. My work centers on realizing the deeper promise of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (quality education and lifelong learning for all) by advancing its transformative vision through Target 4.7 (Education for global citizenship and sustainable development).
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of designing policy frameworks, leadership development programs, and school improvement initiatives that help translate policy intent to impactful practice. I’ve also contributed to broader regional and international efforts, including the European Declaration on Global Education 2050, UNESCO MGIEP's Kindness Matters Campaign and Prevention of Violent Extremism through Education initative among others.
Beyond systems and institutional work, I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with young people through platforms like Youth Design Lab and Global Debates. In these spaces, I work alongside young people to nurture critical thinking, practice civic imagination, and strengthen the mindsets and skills that make civic engagement feel possible, personal, and enduring.
At the heart of all this, is something personal. I’m a first-generation learner who was once invited into spaces I didn’t know I belonged in, and now I work to make sure those doors stay open for others.
